Uruguayan MRS-1's 1611 and 1612


USArmy 2099 and USArmy 2114 went to Uruguay (#2114 in March 1976 and #2099 in March 1977 see photo here) and remained in service until 1994.

1611 GE/ALCo MRS-1 GE 31669-ALCo 80347 1953 ex U.S. Army 2114

USArmy 2114 went to Uruguay in March 1976 and remained in service until 1994. The unit suffered fire on January 15th 1994, after which it was withdrawn. The unit was scrapped in May 1996.

USArmy 2099 went to Uruguay in March 1977 see photo here) and remained in service until 1994. Actually it is stored in bad shape.
